Ingredients

  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (to taste)
  • Optional toppings: M&Ms, crushed candy canes


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spread the mini pretzels evenly.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until it comes to a boil.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the pretzels and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Allow the chocolate to melt for a couple of minutes, then spread it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle with sea salt and optional toppings as desired.
  9. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
