Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh spinach (or 2 bags, chopped)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
- Serve warm as a side dish.
