Description

A creamy and rich spinach dish that elevates a classic side to new heights, perfect for special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs fresh spinach (or 2 bags, chopped)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

Choose fresh spinach for the best flavor. Allow the dish to rest for 5 minutes after baking before serving.
