Description

A simple and fast recipe for a fluffy, chewy pizza crust that you can make in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110°F)
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture along with the olive oil.
  3. Mix the ingredients until a dough starts to form.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  6. Once risen, roll out to your desired thickness and shape for the pizza.

Notes

For best results, ensure your water is warm (not hot) and knead the dough thoroughly.
