Ingredients
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110°F)
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture along with the olive oil.
- Mix the ingredients until a dough starts to form.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Once risen, roll out to your desired thickness and shape for the pizza.
