Ingredients
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Sugar (for sprinkling)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut them into small squares.
- Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the dough over the filling to create a triangle or pocket shape.
- Brush the tops with an egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
