Ingredients
- 2 cups pretzels
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup M&Ms (optional)
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the pretzels in an even layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until it becomes bubbly.
- Pour the melted mixture over the pretzels, spreading it evenly for full coverage.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and promptly sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to melt, then spread it evenly across the pretzel layer.
- Top with M&Ms and a light sprinkle of sea salt.
- Allow to cool before breaking into pieces.
Notes
For best results, use quality chocolate chips and be careful not to overbake the mixture.
