Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional pizza featuring cottage cheese and customizable toppings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or pizza sauce)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, eggs, oregano, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.
  3. In a greased baking dish, spread half of the pasta sauce across the bottom.
  4. Layer half of the cottage cheese mixture over the sauce and spread it evenly.
  5. Add your chosen pizza toppings, distributing evenly over the mixture.
  6. Pour the remaining pasta sauce on top, followed by the rest of the cottage cheese mixture.
  7. Finally, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella on top.
  8. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
