Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained well
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup additional pecans for rolling


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crushed pineapple, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Using an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk, blend everything until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the finely chopped pecans, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  4. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands or a rubber spatula.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, until firm.
  6. Once chilled, unwrap and roll the cheese ball in the additional chopped pecans, coating it evenly on all sides.
