A fun and easy-to-make dish that combines the flavors of classic pizza with the convenience of a quesadilla. Perfect for any mealtime!
Ingredients
- 4 medium flour tortillas
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 1/2 cup pizza or marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
- Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle half with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Add a layer of pepperoni slices, then sprinkle on oregano and garlic powder. Fold the tortilla in half.
- Place the folded tortilla in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy and cheese is melted.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients. Let cool slightly and slice into wedges.
- Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Don’t overfill the quesadillas to ensure even cooking. Fresh ingredients elevate the dish further.
