Description

A fun and easy-to-make dish that combines the flavors of classic pizza with the convenience of a quesadilla. Perfect for any mealtime!


Ingredients

  • 4 medium flour tortillas
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • 1/2 cup pizza or marinara sauce (for dipping)


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil or butter.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat and sprinkle half with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  3. Add a layer of pepperoni slices, then sprinkle on oregano and garlic powder. Fold the tortilla in half.
  4. Place the folded tortilla in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy and cheese is melted.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients. Let cool slightly and slice into wedges.
  6. Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overfill the quesadillas to ensure even cooking. Fresh ingredients elevate the dish further.
