  • 6-8 ripe fresh peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour, brown sugar, oats, and salt.
  5. Add the cold butter pieces to the dry ingredients. Use your fingers or a pastry blender to cut the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
