Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly and trim off the ends. Slice each sprout in half lengthwise.
- In a large bowl, drizzle the halved sprouts with olive oil, and sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle finely grated Parmesan cheese over the coated Brussels sprouts and gently toss to distribute.
- Spread the seasoned sprouts in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Optional: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sprouts before serving. Serve immediately for the best texture.
