Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)


Instructions

  1. Rinse the Brussels sprouts thoroughly and trim off the ends. Slice each sprout in half lengthwise.
  2. In a large bowl, drizzle the halved sprouts with olive oil, and sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Sprinkle finely grated Parmesan cheese over the coated Brussels sprouts and gently toss to distribute.
  4. Spread the seasoned sprouts in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Optional: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sprouts before serving. Serve immediately for the best texture.
