Description

Transform Brussels sprouts with this delicious Orange Maple Glazed recipe, combining sweet maple syrup and tangy orange for a delightful side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts cut-side down on a rimmed baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes, then stir and roast for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare the glaze by whisking together maple syrup, orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  6. Remove the sprouts from the oven and drizzle the glaze over them, tossing to coat.
  7. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
