Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, 1/4 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread the cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for the glaze.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
