Description
Bite-sized grilled cheese sandwiches made with sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for any gathering or cozy night in.
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 4 tbsp Butter (softened)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
- 1 tsp Dried Herbs (optional – oregano or basil)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- If using, mix in garlic powder and dried herbs to the cheese mixture for added flavor.
- Spread a generous amount of butter on the cut sides of each Hawaiian roll.
- On the bottom half of each roll, add a layer of the cheese mixture.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on, pressing down gently to secure.
- Place the assembled rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, use fresh ingredients and serve warm. Customize with different herbs or add-ins as desired.
