Description

Bite-sized grilled cheese sandwiches made with sweet Hawaiian rolls, perfect for any gathering or cozy night in.


Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 tbsp Butter (softened)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs (optional – oregano or basil)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. If using, mix in garlic powder and dried herbs to the cheese mixture for added flavor.
  5. Spread a generous amount of butter on the cut sides of each Hawaiian roll.
  6. On the bottom half of each roll, add a layer of the cheese mixture.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls back on, pressing down gently to secure.
  8. Place the assembled rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients and serve warm. Customize with different herbs or add-ins as desired.
