Description

A delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken with a creamy topping of Greek yogurt and Parmesan, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Make the Topping: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the top of each piece.
  4. Bake: Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The topping should be golden and slightly bubbly.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley or chives before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the yogurt mixture for a few hours before baking. You can also mix in some chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes into the topping for extra taste.
