Ingredients
- 4 boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for color)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Make the Topping: In a medium bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Prepare Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over the top of each piece.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The topping should be golden and slightly bubbly.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle fresh parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the yogurt mixture for a few hours before baking. You can also mix in some chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes into the topping for extra taste.
