Description

A hearty and comforting classic meatloaf recipe perfect for family meals any day of the week.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the glaze:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the glaze ingredients (ketchup, brown sugar, mustard) and spread it over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
