Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the heavy cream and Italian seasoning to the skillet, stirring well. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
