Description

Margarita Balls are bite-sized treats that replicate the tangy and sweet flavor of a margarita in a creamy, cookie-coated ball – perfect for parties or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • Lime zest (for coating)


Instructions

  1. Beat together the cream cheese, lime juice, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth and combined.
  2. Stir in the vanilla wafer crumbs until sticky.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Roll each ball in a mixture of sugar and lime zest.
  5. Refrigerate the balls for at least 120 minutes or until firm.
