Description

A fun and comforting dish that combines meatloaf and macaroni and cheese, perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni pasta
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional spices (like garlic powder, paprika)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cooked macaroni with cheese and milk.
  5. Layer half of the meat mixture in a greased casserole dish, followed by the macaroni and cheese mixture, and then the remaining meat mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the meat is cooked through and the top is browned.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored for 3-4 days in the refrigerator or frozen for up to 3 months.
