Description

A delightful dish that brings the vibrant flavors of the Florida Keys right to your backyard with juicy chicken breasts marinated in a zesty blend of citrus juices and spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, honey, olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the top. Seal the bag, removing excess air, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite summer salads or sides.

Notes

Marinate longer for more flavor, use a meat thermometer for accuracy, and let the chicken rest to retain juices.
