Low-carb, bite-sized snacks that deliver cheesy, savory flavors of pizza without the crust.
Ingredients
- 24 slices smoked turkey pepperoni
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- 2 tablespoons low sugar pizza sauce (optional)
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly grease a mini muffin pan with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Place one slice of smoked turkey pepperoni into each muffin cup, pressing it down to form a cup.
- In a bowl, mix shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, and Italian seasoning.
- Add a small spoonful of the cheese mixture on top of each pepperoni cup.
- If using sauce, add a small dot in each cup.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
Notes
Use a silicone muffin pan for easy removal. Don’t overfill the cups.
