Description

A low-carb twist on the classic cheesesteak, featuring ground meat, melted cheese, and wrapped in lettuce or low-carb tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves or low-carb tortilla for wrapping


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat until browned.
  2. Add the sliced peppers and onions and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in the shredded cheese until melted.
