Ingredients
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Italian herbs (e.g., basil, oregano, thyme)
Instructions
- In a bread machine, add warm water and yeast; let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add olive oil, sugar, salt, and half of the flour to the yeast mixture.
- Mix until well combined, then add the remaining flour, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs.
- Select the dough setting on your bread machine and start.
- Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
