Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs (e.g., basil, oregano, thyme)


Instructions

  1. In a bread machine, add warm water and yeast; let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add olive oil, sugar, salt, and half of the flour to the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix until well combined, then add the remaining flour, Parmesan cheese, and Italian herbs.
  4. Select the dough setting on your bread machine and start.
  5. Once the dough has risen, shape it into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
