A delightful blend of spices and tea for a cozy chai tea latte at home.
Ingredients
- 1 cup black tea leaves (or decaffeinated if desired)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup powdered milk (or non-dairy alternative)
- ½ to 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the black tea leaves, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg.
- Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed through the tea.
- Add the powdered milk and sugar to the mixture, stirring thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
- Carefully transfer the mixture into an airtight container.
- To prepare your chai tea latte, stir a couple of tablespoons of the mix into a cup of hot water or milk, adjusting to taste.
