Description

A delightful blend of spices and tea for a cozy chai tea latte at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup black tea leaves (or decaffeinated if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup powdered milk (or non-dairy alternative)
  • ½ to 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the black tea leaves, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg.
  2. Mix well until all the spices are evenly distributed through the tea.
  3. Add the powdered milk and sugar to the mixture, stirring thoroughly until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Carefully transfer the mixture into an airtight container.
  5. To prepare your chai tea latte, stir a couple of tablespoons of the mix into a cup of hot water or milk, adjusting to taste.
