Description

A delicious combination of sweet and spicy flavors, this Hot Honey Chicken is quick to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat dry the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper for coating.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Whisk together hot honey and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  6. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the cooked chicken and toss gently to coat.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is dry before seasoning to ensure a good sear. For extra heat, use more hot honey or add red pepper flakes. Adjust cooking time if using chicken thighs.
