Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat dry the chicken breasts and season them with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch with a pinch of salt and pepper for coating.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Whisk together hot honey and soy sauce in a small bowl.
- Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the cooked chicken and toss gently to coat.
Notes
Make sure the chicken is dry before seasoning to ensure a good sear. For extra heat, use more hot honey or add red pepper flakes. Adjust cooking time if using chicken thighs.
