Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Once the turkey is cooked through, pour the honey garlic mixture over the turkey.
  5. Stir to combine well and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Serve over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
