A quick and healthy meal featuring lean ground turkey with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional)
- Green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the vegetable oil if using.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Pour the sauce over the turkey, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions if desired.
Notes
Serve over rice or noodles, or in lettuce wraps. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
