Description

A delightful twist on traditional banana bread that combines ripe bananas with cocoa powder and protein, making it a wholesome snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for extra sweetness)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, salt, applesauce, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
