Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (whey or plant-based)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: chopped nuts or chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the eggs, Greek yogurt (or applesauce), honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
