Healthy Oatmeal Apple Pancakes provide a wholesome and delicious start to your day, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 apple, grated
- 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, add the rolled oats and blend until they become a fine flour.
- Add the grated apple, milk, egg, baking powder, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup (if using), and salt. Blend until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For thicker batter, add a splash more milk. Use freshly grated apple for better flavor.
