Ingredients
- 4 russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
- Place the potatoes on a cutting board and make thin slices about 1/8 inch apart, stopping about 1/4 inch from the bottom so the slices remain attached.
- Brush the melted butter all over the potatoes, making sure to get it between the slices.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper over the potatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes or until the potatoes are crispy on the edges and tender inside.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve as a delicious side dish.
Notes
