Description

A fun and delicious take on a classic side dish, Hasselback Potatoes feature crispy edges and fluffy insides, soaking up butter and seasonings perfectly.


Ingredients

  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
  3. Place the potatoes on a cutting board and make thin slices about 1/8 inch apart, stopping about 1/4 inch from the bottom so the slices remain attached.
  4. Brush the melted butter all over the potatoes, making sure to get it between the slices.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the potatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes or until the potatoes are crispy on the edges and tender inside.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve as a delicious side dish.
