Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 package rye cocktail bread
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the garlic powder and onion powder to the meat mixture.
- Stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined and creamy.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the rye cocktail bread on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the meat and cheese mixture onto each slice of rye bread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
