Description

Delicious bites combining ground beef and pork sausage with creamy cheeses, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package rye cocktail bread
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add the garlic powder and onion powder to the meat mixture.
  3. Stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined and creamy.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place the rye cocktail bread on a baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the meat and cheese mixture onto each slice of rye bread.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
