Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk or half-and-half
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until combined and slightly frothy.
- Stir in diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese until well-distributed.
- Pour mixture into the baking dish and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, replace ham with sautéed vegetables. This dish is highly customizable and can be made ahead of time.
