Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
- Add garlic and ground turkey; cook until the turkey is browned.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, chicken broth, and mixed vegetables. Cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer turkey mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with mashed potatoes, spreading them to cover the turkey mixture completely.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the top is slightly golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

For extra flavor, add herbs like rosemary or parsley. For creamier mashed potatoes, mix in cream cheese or sour cream.
