Description

A quick and nutritious one-pan dish combining ground beef, fresh spinach, and crumbled feta cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the chopped spinach, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until the spinach is wilted.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the crumbled feta cheese.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also try substituting the beef or adding extra veggies to fit your taste.
