Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 head of lettuce (e.g., butter or iceberg)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in chopped bell peppers and onions, cooking until the veggies are soft.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring to combine, and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
