Description

A versatile and easy grilled chicken breast recipe marinated for bold flavors and juicy texture.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 4 (6- to 8-oz.) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, rosemary, and thyme in a bowl. Season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade for basting while grilling.
  3. Add chicken breasts, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Prepare the grill for medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6 minutes per side, or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165°F.
  6. Transfer the chicken to a platter and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinating the chicken overnight enhances flavor. Use a meat thermometer for perfect cooking.
