Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Serve the meatballs warm with a side of tzatziki sauce.
Notes
To keep meatballs moist, avoid overmixing. Drain cucumber well for tzatziki. Try adding herbs like dill or mint for variation.
