Description

Ingredients

  • 2 Pork chops
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., rosemary or thyme)


Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  5. Baste the pork chops with the garlic butter.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Let the pork chops rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even results. Experiment with different herbs to suit your taste.
