Ingredients
- 2 Pork chops
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., rosemary or thyme)
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
- Baste the pork chops with the garlic butter.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Let the pork chops rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking for even results. Experiment with different herbs to suit your taste.
