A simple and tasty meal featuring ground turkey sautéed with garlic and herbs, served over brown rice with steamed veggies and a garlic butter drizzle.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 cups brown rice
- 2 cups steamed green beans or spinach
- 4 tbsp garlic butter
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Herbs (thyme, parsley, Italian blend)
- Optional: Worcestershire or soy sauce
Instructions
- In a skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in oil or butter.
- Add ground turkey, season with herbs, and cook until browned.
- Melt garlic butter and mix in minced garlic; set aside.
- Prepare brown rice according to package instructions.
- Steam green beans or spinach until just tender.
- Assemble by layering rice, turkey mixture, veggies, garlic butter, and Parmesan.
- Optional: Stir in Worcestershire or soy sauce for added flavor.
Notes
Serve warm, adding a side salad or crusty bread for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
