A delicious and healthy skillet dish featuring garlic butter ground turkey and tender cauliflower, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the turkey with salt, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir well.
- Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until tender.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the mixture and stir until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
Notes
Adjust seasonings to taste. You can also add other vegetables or swap turkey with ground chicken or beef.
