Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 4 slices of bread (sourdough or Italian recommended)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread, covering all edges.
- Place two slices of bread butter-side down in a skillet over low heat. Add half of the cheese to each slice.
- Top with the other slices of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook the sandwiches for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the pan, slice, and serve immediately.
