Description

A deliciously fun and easy recipe that combines the best of pizza and bread into one irresistible loaf, perfect for family gatherings or as a satisfying snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage crumbles
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg wash (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape.
  3. Spread marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Arrange pepperoni slices, cooked sausage crumbles, bell peppers, and onions on top of the cheese.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the fillings.
  7. Roll the dough tightly to form a log, sealing the seams.
  8. Place the garbage bread seam side down on the baking sheet.
  9. Brush the top of the dough with egg wash for a golden finish (optional).
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  11. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use quality dough for the best flavor and texture. Don’t overfill and ensure you seal the edges properly.
