A delightful dish combining crispy potatoes, sweet onions, and rich smoked Polish sausage.
Ingredients
- 2 large Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 8 oz smoked Polish sausage
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and cube the potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- Slice the onion and the smoked Polish sausage into thin pieces.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat and add the seasoned potatoes.
- Cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and crispy.
- Add the onions and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sausage slices and cook until browned and heated through for another 10-15 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding bell peppers or cheese as a topping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
