A sunny, simple dessert that showcases ripe apricots under a toasty oat crumble.
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh apricots, halved and pitted
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the apricots in half, remove the pits, and place them in a baking dish.
- Combine oats, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Melt the butter and mix it into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apricots.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the apricots are bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
