Ingredients

- 1/4 cup flour (35g)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup egg whites (or more water)
- 1/4 cup yogurt (or applesauce)
- 2 tbsp sweetener of choice
- 2 tsp oil (optional for crispiness)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients thoroughly.
- Add in the wet ingredients and mix to form a batter.
- Adjust the consistency with more liquid if needed; aim for a typical waffle batter texture.
- Preheat your waffle iron and grease it well.
- Pour batter into the center, close the lid, and cook until golden and crisp.
- Re-grease the iron before each new batch to prevent sticking.
- Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
