Delicious and easy-to-make fluffy pancakes that will brighten your breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Additional butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined (it’s okay if there are a few lumps).
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side, approximately another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve warm with your favorite syrup or toppings!
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding vanilla extract or cinnamon. Store leftover pancakes in the fridge for up to 2 days.
