Description

Delicious and easy-to-make fluffy pancakes that will brighten your breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Additional butter or oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until well combined.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined (it’s okay if there are a few lumps).
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side, approximately another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite syrup or toppings!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vanilla extract or cinnamon. Store leftover pancakes in the fridge for up to 2 days.
