  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring until mixed.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can lead to flat pancakes.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. If desired, lightly grease with cooking spray or a bit of butter.
  5. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then carefully flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
