A delightful holiday treat combining creamy white chocolate and crunchy sugar cookies, perfect for gifting or adding to dessert tables.
Ingredients
- 3 cups white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate bars
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into smaller pieces
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup festive Christmas sprinkles
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon butter extract
- Optional: 1/2 cup finely crushed sugar cookies
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil, lightly greasing it.
- Combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a heatproof bowl.
- Melt using the double boiler method or microwave, stirring continuously until smooth.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt.
- If using, fold in crushed sugar cookies.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle festive Christmas sprinkles on top while warm.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 to 240 minutes or overnight.
- Once firm, lift fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate.
Notes
For stronger flavor, add optional butter extract. For a crunchier texture, use finely crushed sugar cookies.
