Description

Delightful, crispy won ton appetizers filled with chicken, shrimp, and cream cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 package won ton wrappers
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Oil for frying
  • Sweet and sour sauce (for dipping)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Take one won ton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle and press to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry the won tons in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve warm with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
