Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese for topping (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat and drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Stir in the elbow macaroni, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  6. Serve hot, with a sprinkle of shredded cheese on top if desired.
